Head Coach Molly Grisham

Molly Grisham is in her first season as head women's soccer coach at Wayne State College.  She was hired as the school's sixth head coach in the program's history on February 1, 2009.  Grisham comes to Wayne State after serving one season as an assistant coach at Ottawa University in Kansas where she helped coach the team to a 14-5-1 record while placing second in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference at 7-2.

Prior to her position at Ottawa, Grisham served as the head coach at the University School of Nashville in Tennessee where she led the team to the Tennessee state high school semifinals.  She also taught classes at Nashville State Community College and was the soccer coach, assistant athletic director and teacher at St. Cecilia Academy in Nashville.

Grisham is a 1997 graduate of Belmont University in Tennessee earning her undergraduate degree in broadcasting.  She received her master's degree in communications from the University of Illinois in 2002.  Grisham played collegiate soccer at Quincy University in Illinois and has an extensive background working soccer camps and academies.  She is a former president of the Nashville Area Womens' Soccer Association and is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.  Grisham resides in Wayne.
